Arrivals and Departures

Rooms are available from 1pm on the day of arrival and all rooms must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure.

Arrivals are not accepted after 11pm

Rates quoted are for specific rooms and availability is limited

Car Parking

Car parking on the forecourt is on a 1^st-come, 1^st-served basis. This facility is provided free of charge and at the customer's risk. The Park View cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage while the vehicle is parked on its premises.

General Information

Breakfast is served from 7.30am to 9am, Monday to Saturday inclusive.

Sundays and Bank Holidays from 8am to 9.30am.

Separate arrangements can be made for earlier departures.

Luggage can be left on the day of departure for a later pick up. Luggage is left under owners risk and the Park View can take no responsibility for loss or damage.

Hairdryers can be borrowed from reception. We can provide an Iron and Ironing board upon request.

If portable electrical appliances are bought into the Park View for use, these must comply with British Safety Standards

Non Smoking Policy and Damages

The Park View is a Non Smoking establishment. The Park View reserves the right to charge your credit or debit card if the room has received smoking related damage. The Park View also reserves the right to charge or claim for damages for any mis-use or theft occurring in its rooms or damage caused resulting in a loss of revenue for the Park View.

Booking Information

When you make a reservation you will be asked to secure your booking with either a debit or credit card. In the case of non arrivals, the total cost will be charged. Any cancellation or amendment made to a reservation within 48hrs of the date of arrival may result in a charge to the card, unless we are able to re-let the accommodation.

Complaints and Comments

Any complaints should be made to the Park View proprietor at the time of the stay so that any difficulties can be resolved at the time and not upon departure.

Access Statement

On arrival at the Park View the entrance has 3 steps with a rise of 11-12cm with hand rails, the door threshold has a rise of 9cm and width of 80cm.

From Reception to accommodation in the main Georgian House

The Georgian house has 3 floors, with 18 stairs to the 1^st and 2^nd floors and 15 stairs to the 3^rd floor rising 18cm per stair. We do not have a lift but reasonable assistance can be provided with luggage. On the 3^rd floor both rooms have sloping ceilings.

From Reception to accommodation in the Victorian House, via internal corridor, there is a rise of 4cm on the fire door threshold, then a step drop of 17cm and a further 3 steps with 17cm drops with a handrail provided.

The Victorian house has 2 floors, each with 15 stairs to each floor, with a stair rise of 19 cm. We do not have a lift but reasonable assistance can be provided with luggage. On the 2^nd floor both ceilings have a slight slope.

Access to the Dining Room.

Access to the Dining room is along the corridor from the Georgian stairway, through 2 fire doors, there is one step into the dining room with 23cm drop, with a door width of 79cm.

We provide waiter/waitress service in the dining room.

Access into the Guest Lounge

Access to the Guest Lounge is via the internal Georgian stairway through two fire doors with a width of 80cm each.

Access to the Garden

Access to the Garden is available past the reception desk starting in the corridor to the Victorian house. The initial step into the corridor has a drop of 17cm with door width of 76cm, then the door threshold of 4cm and then there are a further 2 steps to access the garden with a depth of 20cm and door width of 84cm.
